COMMON QUESTIONS

IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR FILM SHOOTERS ONLY, OR CAN DIGITAL SHOOTERS ATTEND?

Jessica will be shooting the entire workshop on film and will teach the basics of the film camera during the workshop, however the workshop is highly suitable for both mediums.  Since the focus is on discovering the artistic self, our cameras are important but remain only the vehicle by which we create.  Whichever you choose, you will emerge with tools and passion to create work that reflects you more then ever.

HOW EXPERIENCED DO I NEED TO BE TO FULLY ENGAGE WITH THIS WORKSHOP?

There is no set experience level necessary for this workshop. We only suggest that you have a foundational understanding of photography in general before attending the workshop.  We are thrilled to meet you exactly where you are at and help take you to the next level!

FOOD & DRINK

All meals and snacks are covered during your time at the workshop. Sharing meals around the table is an important part of the experience - so expect to be filled with not only amazing food but a wonderful time to bond with new friends. Certain meals will be on-the-go due to the nature of the workshop, either during a morning of lectures or while we are on our way to a shoot. Expect to be well fed and looked after the whole time you are with us!

*Please note: If you have any dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc) please do not hesitate to contact Jessica directly at info@jessicarosephoto.ca so she can ensure you are looked after.

HOW DO I ARRANGE ACCOMMODATIONS AND RENTAL CARS?

Once you have secured your seat at the workshop we will add you to the private Facebook group in which you can make arrangements with other attendees for car pooling and sharing accommodation.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE VENUE?

If you don't want to rent a car we are happy to send you a list of transportation options that can easily get you to St. Giles House from all nearby airports.

WHERE DO I FLY INTO?

London will be the most monetarily efficient option, about a 2 hour drive from the workshop. There are a number of closer airports including Bristol & Bournemouth which are significantly closer in distance (20 mins to 1 hour)

HOW DO I SECURE MY SEAT AT THE WORKSHOP?

There is a $1,200 deposit to secure your seat with the remainder due 1 month prior to arrival. A contract will be sent for electronic signing.

WHAT IF I SIGN UP AND PAY THE DEPOSIT BUT NEED TO CANCEL?

The deposit is non-refundable but can be put towards another Jessica Rose Workshop happening in 2018.  That includes The Photographer's Way workshops or One on One workshops booked directly with Jessica Rose Photography.

CAN I BRING MY SPOUSE/PARTNER?

Of course! Meals and lecture time are available for spouses/partners at an additional $900USD. Please contact info@jessicarosephoto.ca to make these arrangements by April 1 as space is limited.
