Jessica is a wedding, editorial, and portrait photographer with a passion for medium format film, authenticity, and natural beauty. Her training in studio art and her love of stories combine to provide a unique and artistic take on the documentation of love. She travels frequently for weddings, loving any opportunity to tell the story of a couple’s big day, wherever it may be taking place. Her work has been featured in multiple print magazines, online blogs, and publications including Once Wed, Style Me Pretty, Magnolia Rouge, Wedding Sparrow, Belle Lumiere, Wedding Chicks, Vale & Vine, How He Asked, Ruffled, and Utterly Engaged.

Emmily is a design-focused planner whose days consist of authentically-curated details, spreadsheets, timelines, texture combinations and 2am email sessions. Her design aesthetic is clean, natural and devoid of fuss. Known for her minimal, intentional approach to design, Emmily’s work receives both national and international recognition. She travels throughout the globe executing her clients’ gatherings, designing workshops and mentoring industry professionals.

She resides in Northern California with her husband, toddler and black lab.

Nicole is known for her carefree aesthetic that finds beauty in natural imperfections. Nicole is passionate about sourcing the best products, and gaining inspiration from the season and her native surroundings. Nicole is currently living in Utah with her daughter, husband, two life-loving labs, seven hens, and a few colonies of honey bees. Emily Newman launched Once Wed in March 2008 after she saw a need in the marketplace for an online listing service for second-hand wedding dresses following her own wedding. She later developed the company as an online wedding publication and resource to provide newly-engaged brides with inspiration and tools to plan their dream wedding. Her editorial eye and passion for helping brides plan inspired weddings has helped Once Wed rise above the ranks as one of the top wedding websites in the world. Once Wed greets over 6 million visitors a year with a daily social reach of 400k+ followers.

Her role as a Creative Director can be seen in campaigns for Fuji Film, Williams-Sonoma, Zola Registry, Allure, and Freixenet. She lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and daughter.

Nikkol is a designer with an inherent eye for the graceful and refined. Building on masculine foundations with overtones of femininity, she utilizes negative space to allow her design work to breathe. Her wedding work has been featured on Style Me Pretty, Once Wed, Magnolia Rouge, Wedding Chicks, and others.

She is an advocate of intentional living and believes that the most meaningful moments are usually the most ordinary. In a world where nearly everything has turned digital, she holds tight to the philosophy that the tactile experience is essential to life. She's the designer behind the workbooks and paper goods at The Photographer's Way.


TARA SPENCER | Calligraphy & invitations suites

Designer, lettering artist and creative, Tara Spencer focuses on simplicity, subtlety and delicate textures, creating thoughtful paper goods for wedding and events.

Tara is creative director of Idyll Paper, an exclusive collection of fine art wedding stationery, and source for exquisite handmade paper and envelopes. Along with her husband, Tara is also director and founder of August, a linen brand for quiet living.
